How it works. Each set is one episode of a continuing story set at the front desk of the Riverside Hostel in Bangkok, where a young receptionist named Ning meets travelers from around the world. Every episode practices the grammar people need for one real purpose, such as asking for help, giving directions, making suggestions, or apologizing. Read the whole conversation first, then choose. Ning: Good evening! Welcome to the Riverside Hostel. a reservation?

Ning: Thank you. How long staying with us?
Lukas: Five nights. breakfast included?
Ning: Yes, it is. Breakfast from seven to ten every morning.
Lukas: Where eat it?
Ning: On the rooftop. You can see the river from there. What time in Bangkok?
Lukas: About two hours ago. My flight late.
Ning: Oh no. you hungry?

Ning: There’s a night market at the end of the street. you like spicy food?
