Principal / Principle
Principal (noun/adjective): The head of a school or the most important.
Principle (noun): A fundamental truth or belief.
Example: “The principal of the school announced a holiday.” / “She stood by her principles.”
Flout / Flaunt
Flout (verb): To openly disregard a rule or law.
Flaunt (verb): To show off something ostentatiously.
Example: “He flouted the regulations with impunity.” / “She flaunted her new jewelry.”
Metal / Medal
Metal (noun): A solid material that is typically hard, shiny, and malleable.
Medal (noun): A piece of metal awarded as a prize or honor.
