Adjacent Next to or adjoining something else. – The library is adjacent to the university campus.
Adjust To modify or change slightly. – She had to adjust her thesis to incorporate the new data.
Advocate A person who publicly supports a cause; to support a cause. – He is an advocate for environmental protection.
Aggregate A total or sum made up of smaller parts. – The aggregate of all votes showed a clear majority.
Allocate To set apart for a specific purpose or distribute. – Funds were allocated for student research projects.
Amend To make changes to a text to improve it. – The committee proposed to amend the policy document.
Append To add something to the end of a document. – She decided to append additional notes at the end of her report.
Appreciate To recognize the value or importance of something. – I appreciate your help with the project.
