Welcome to the Education for Peace Foundation, a global initiative dedicated to fostering knowledge, wisdom, and practical guidance for citizens of the world. Our mission is to equip individuals with the tools they need to unlock the vast opportunities and knowledge available through English proficiency, as we believe that English serves as a gateway to realizing potential in a rapidly evolving world.

The Education for Peace Foundation (EPF) was founded on the following core principles:
âĒ Human resource development is fundamental to addressing and solving all human problems.
âĒ Empowerment at both individual and societal levels can be fostered through formal and informal education that bridges gaps in attitudes, psychology, intellect, culture, technology, and academia.
âĒ Love and peace can, and must, prevail despite the challenges and setbacks in human societies.
âĒ Empowered individuals are key drivers of positive change at all levels.
âĒ A sustainable business model can be applied to charity work, maximizing impact and accelerating progress in the most vulnerable communities.
âĒ Community engagement is essential to ensure long-term sustainability and lasting impact.
This foundation is guided by these principles as it works to build a more peaceful, empowered, and educated world.

Inspired by the experiences of Dr. Snea Thinsan, who has spent a lifetime working toward a better world, this foundation is rooted in the principles of peace, education, and empowerment. Dr. Thinsanâs journey began in a small rural village in Northern Thailand, where he was nurtured by the harmonious hospitality of his community. His pursuit of peace has taken him across continents, working with diverse religious and cultural groups to find common ground in education and peaceful practices. From teaching refugees in Thailand to exploring critical literacy and pedagogy alongside renowned thinkers such as Paolo Freire and the Dalai Lama, Dr. Thinsan has dedicated his life to building bridges through education.
This foundation draws upon Dr. Thinsanâs vast experience, from serving as a Fulbright scholar to witnessing the ruins of Afghanistan during its civil war. He believes deeply in the power of education as a transformative tool for peace and rebuilding. His work extends to founding the Thai Peopleâs Revolutionary University, promoting democracy and human rights, and establishing the first Thai-led human rights organization abroad, the Thai Alliance for Human Rights.
The Education for Peace Foundation stands as a testament to Dr. Thinsanâs visionâa place where compassionate individuals come together to contribute to global peace-building efforts through education. By collaborating with networks across countries such as Australia, Thailand, the U.S., Afghanistan, and beyond, we strive to elevate educational quality in places that need it most, empowering the next generation of global citizens.
Join us in realizing this dream for a better world. Whether you wish to volunteer, collaborate, or simply learn, we welcome you to connect with us. More details will be added to this website soon.
